About The Site:
Imageboard.net is a text free social communication device designed to leverge creativity while blowing past social the construct of language. Draw, don't type, pictures with other people. No text. Well, as little text as possible. We're working hard to keep the front page free of text, which is producing some interesting results with search engines.Imageboard was born from a programing competition with the theme of anti-text and a conversation about textless IRC. The idea seemed insane, but that suited our personalities just fine. The basics of imageboard were hacked out in about a weekend and we've been refining it ever since.
The drawing client is written in Flash 8, though we do have our original Flash 7 version kicking around so you can use it on the Wii. Python is used for the backend and is based on the Django web framework with PostgreSQL as the database.
