About The Site:
Imageboard.net is a text free social communication device designed to leverge creativity while blowing past social the construct of language. Draw, don't type, pictures with other people. No text. Well, as little text as possible. We're working hard to keep the front page free of text, which is producing some interesting results with search engines.
Imageboard was born from a programing competition with the theme of anti-text and a conversation about textless IRC. The idea seemed insane, but that suited our personalities just fine. The basics of imageboard were hacked out in about a weekend and we've been refining it ever since.
The drawing client is written in Flash 8, though we do have our original Flash 7 version kicking around so you can use it on the Wii.
Python is used for the backend and is based on the
Django web framework with
PostgreSQL as the database.

Welcome to the imageboard.net tour!
Imageboard.net is a message board or web forum based on drawing rather than typing. This tour is designed to show off some of the stuff it can do and make the site easier for you to get into.
We have a ranking system where logged in users can vote images up or down. These are a few of the top rated things. Write more interesting things here.
This is what I really wanted to focus on, but it seems flash has other plans. It's vital that this be shown in front of the flash app. I may fake it with a screenshot of the app, but that's not really what I want to do.
The drawing tool is what makes this site interesting to use.
- disk picture - Save. After you're all done hit this button and wait
- more pictures - These do things!
That wraps up the tour. Here's a quick run down of the important buttons you may see on the site and what they do:

- Add a new image. On the main page this starts a new thread. In a current thread it lets you open and meddle with that picture.

,

,

- Pages through a listing if there's more than one page.

- Login. If you don't have an account it will let you create one. That way you can take ownership of your images and see how others rank them.

,

- Vote for which pictures you like, and vote down the pictures that just shouldn't be shown. You must be logged in to vote.
Hopefully you have an idea of how the site works so give it a shot. Until you create an account, log in, and then decide to sign things, everything you do is anonymous so just have fun!
